The Garra Rufa fish, known for their therapeutic properties, originally come from the warm waters of Turkey. These toothless fish are recognised for their numerous healing benefits and effectiveness in exfoliating, cleansing, massaging and softening of the skin. The fish stimulate acupuncture points, helping to regulate the nervous system and relax the body. During this they release an enzyme known as Dithranol, which helps to soothe and aide a variety of skin disorders, such as, psoriasis and eczema. This exotic treatment begins with a gentle sea salt wash to cleanse your specified area, before submersing yourself into one of our eight specially customised tanks; these can accommodate up to 10 people at any one time. At first you will feel a flutter of fins against your skin as the fish gently suck and nibble away.
